What I did Add failure handling for SAI get operations. The function allows handling failures in SAI get operations according to the orch type, SAI type, SAI status. Why I did it Enable custom failure handling for SAI get operations.

Changed the approach of managing configuration files, placing them under device///
This way we no longer have to check them into sai package.

Deploy on a switch, make sure that syncd docker has a matching config file under /usr/share/sonic/hwsku, and switch is configured properly.
