Description of PR

Summary:
Fixes # (issue)

Type of change

  • Bug fix
  • Testbed and Framework(new/improvement)
  • Test case(new/improvement)

Approach

What is the motivation for this PR?

PTF docker is provided with an IPv6 address to run IPv6 tacacs test.
To ensure reachability, If PTF docker IP and DUT are in different IPv6 networks, ptf docker should be configured with gateway IPv6 address.

How did you do it?

- Add IPv6 address gateway address to br1 bridge.
- Fix IPv6 address for vlab-01 DUT to use a different address instead of using gateway IP address.
- Update host_vars files to include IPv6 mgmt address.

How did you verify/test it?

  • Bring up vms-kvm-t0 testbed after the changes.
Ensure that a default route is getting added in ptf-docker:
Destination Next Hop Flag Met Ref Use If
    ::/0 fec0::ffff:afa:1 UG 1024 1 0 mgmt
Run tacacs test case to make sure IPv6 connectivity is good
  • Repeat the same on an actual testbed.
  • Create a testbed where server IPv6 mgmt gw IP address is not configured, ensure that testbed comes up fine.

Any platform specific information?

Supported testbed topology if it's a new test case?

ipv6 mgmt address is assigned to that docker.
Fix renumber_topo to provide default value if ipv6 mgmt gw
is not assigned.
