Could you please provide the driver for D457 + MAX96712 under the develop-agx-orin-36.4.4 development environment?

Currently I am using the code from https://github.com/realsenseai/realsense_mipi_platform_driver/blob/max96712_stability/hardware/realsense/tegra234-camera-d4xx-overlay-max96712-EV.dts, including the files dts, max9295.c, max96712.c and d4xx.c, and I've found that the MAX9295 serializer fails to detect the device address.

Could you please provide the driver for D457 + MAX96712 under the develop-agx-orin-36.4.4 development environment?
Alternatively, available patches can be used.

Hi @hongtk Information about D457-compatible Maxim deserializers has been posted today at #14771 (comment)

If hardware other than the recommended equipment (such as a deserializer with MAX9296 technology) is used with the MIPI driver then the driver needs to be 'ported' (converted) for use with the hardware that you own. This conversion needs to be performed by yourself or a development team that you work with if you have one, as RealSense are unable to assist with the porting process unfortunately.

The D457 camera uses GMSL. Is it sufficient to switch the switch to the M position? What else needs to be done?

The physical mode switch in the D457 has two positions, MIPI and USB. It is set to MIPI (GMSL) when purchased. If the switch is moved to the USB position then the camera will only work on a USB cable and not be able to be used with the MIPI driver on a GMSL connection until the switch is moved back to the MIPI position.

The pins beside the mode switch are the hardware sync pins used to synchronize the timing of multiple D457 cameras by connecting a home-made sync cable to the pins.
