This version does not solve any critical problem but maybe you could want to consider merge it

Build Notes

Note: If you get a build error you can try removing the lines about icepick library in app/src/main/java/org/schabi/newpipe/fragments/list/sponsorblock/SponsorBlockFragment.java (line 29/38). I got a successful build with doing that

This is probably because of upstream newpipe has been moved to bridge/android-state (see TeamNewPipe/NewPipe#11636)

I don't know what icepick does but application is still usable as far as I can see (but I don't know much about it, you might want to test it)

Maybe it does remediate one peoblematic issue, which when you load 50+ subscriptions w/ slow mode, you can get your IP rate-limited, the new update slows it down a little bit to avoid such issue,

and also rest of backend stuff (like the mentioned icepick dep)

Also i noticed @polymorphicshade is getting less active recently, but i hope the dev notices this and update it, also still able to maintain tubular going forward :v

Oh, you are right. I forgot to mention this. With the upstream merge, Tubular could be more useful for those with lots of subscriptions 👀
