Necessary to do serialpassthrough flashing using an STM32's bootloader.

As an example, the command is serialpassthrough 5 57600 rxtx 8E1 to enable even parity and 1 stop bit on UART6. Note that baud is ignored if the port is already used (i.e. set to MAVLink mode).

Useful to me, playing around with sbus as well :)

While the scope decoding of serial data is useful, it is a pain in the ass to navigate multiple frames.

Technically, O for odd also exists.

Yes, but the underlying options enum doesn't have a way to do odd parity. :)
