Make Andy's PR mergeable
@agocke : I would like to merge your PR in the IdWeb repo as this is a good basis for the work I'm doing. Hence this little proposal. I'll remove the attributes in the container once I'm done with the IdWeb refactoring.
I've already updated the Microsoft.Identity.Abstractions library to be AoT compatible: AzureAD/microsoft-identity-abstractions-for-dotnet#238
Moving to IdWeb now
