Switching hints off and then back on again renders them normally now.

Would be nice to get a way to reproduce this (a sequence of actions and the project example), or, if you could open the server logs

RPC trace tab for the server

and copy the logs around the time this happens instead.

Right now the RPC message log has 3 messages, from when I turned it back on I guess, I will watch more and if that happens again will copy LSP logs.

This still happens rarely, I bound some keys to toggle inlay hints - this helps fix it by temporarily disabling and re-enabling inlays.

After further testing of #40183 , it seems that this reproduces still in a multi buffer, when an edit and scroll are applied timely — this race needs a test and a fix.
