Nvidia HDMI audio drivers double reserve address space? #298
Description
Had an issue with a 5x Nvidia skylake xeon machine. 4 are RTX 3090s. Linux automatically loads the HDMI audio devices and they each reserve 32gb. Right over the ReBAR memory.
When I get to transferring files to GPUs or even opening them in a utility like https://github.com/ilya-zlobintsev/LACT, PAT memory dumps appear in my console and access speed is degraded.
Since I don't have monitors hooked up, I disabled by setting remove on each one in /sys/devices. Messages are gone, maybe have higher idle power usage though...
If you had this happen and thought your memory was failing.. it's not.
