Describe the bug

Input recorders become disabled after any of these actions:

• Scrolling in the "Recorders" UI
• Leaving the "Recorders" UI
• Closing the EasyEffects window
• Quitting EasyEffects

Expected Behavior

Enabled input recorders do not become disabled unless the user disables them.

I just noticed this bug as well, i also noticed that for some reason my OBS is not recognizing my input as well, is it like my mic is not even connected, i tested with the latest git and version 8.1.4-1, problem persist, could be something outside Easyeffects that is causing this maybe? But also if i close Easyeffects my input works normally without any issues.

Hum... So far I could not reproduce the issue about the checkboxes becoming unchecked. As I am using a test Qt build from an unstable Arch repository and the OBS package available in the stable repository does not run with the test Qt build I can't test it right now. But at least on Firefox and in gst-launch-1.0 the input effects pipeline seems fine.

I think I just discovered a fix for this problem.

For my "Audio Input Capture (PulseAudio)" source in OBS Studio, set "Device" to "Easy Effects Source".

Note

I named the source "Yeti Microphone Audio" in OBS. That name also appears in Easy Effects.

As you can see in the video, the input recorder for that "Audio Input Capture (PulseAudio)" source gets enabled automatically after I disable (uncheck) it in the Recorders UI, which is good.

I'm guessing the other input recorders still have the issue I reported because they are not able to use "Easy Effects Source" as a device. Why can't they use "Easy Effects Source" as a device in OBS? I think the answer is because most of those input recorders I see in Easy Effects are for games' audio streams captured by OBS (they don't have a "Device" setting in OBS), not for microphones captured by OBS (they do have a "Device" setting in OBS). Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I use this plugin called "PipeWire Audio Capture" to capture application audio (e.g. game audio) in OBS.
