EasyEffects Version
7.2.5
What package are you using?
Fedora
Distribution
Fedora 43
Describe the bug
The main symptom is a nearly constant extra CPU load, around 60%, in a pipewire process (observable via htop). It does not matter if any playback stream is active.
I could not yet determine what event, if any, triggers this.
After the problem has begun, it persists until easyeffects is killed (by means of easyeffects -q). This suggests that the issue may be in easyeffects, even though it's a pipewire process exhibiting the problem directly.
Everything still functions ± as normal, when this happens (maybe audio glitches a little bit more often than it normally would (which is almost never), I'm not sure yet).
If I disconnect all Bluetooth headsets and/or Bluetooth adapter, but do not kill easyeffects, then the extra CPU would stop, but only until a Bluetooth headset is connected again.
Restarting pipewire service(s) does not seem to have any effect.
In contrast, killing easyeffects would make the problem disappear completely for a while (even while using Bluetooth headsets).
Expected Behavior
No abnormal CPU usage

I will try to record it and update the issue, a little later
Additional Information
I'll try to share more details soon. Thought I'll post at least the description in case it rings a bell already with someone who knows.
Same issue was happening across multiple versions, and also on the previous Fedora release too (42).
