The 9-button WizMote remote is already supported out-of-the-box by WLED. There is also 2 2-button-variant, called WiZ Smart Button. It works similar to WizMote but has different button IDs.

Button IDs are:

100 - light on
101 - light off
102 - brightness plus (long-press variant of "on")
103 - brightness minus (long-press variant of "off")

I have added a PR for this feature. The change is simple, I have tested the result on my lamp.
