Add point to edge not working

Describe the Bug

I see on the Preferences document the shortcut for adding point to edge. However while on editing mode (can move points in polygon), placing the cursor on the edge and pressing the shortcut key does nothing at all!

I'm labeling a dataset where accuracy is important, but instead of labeling manually, I start with SAM2 guess of the polygon and adjust to my liking. I would love to be able to add more points (SAM2 sometimes is not really accurate), but I cant

Expected Behavior

Nothing will happen, but a point should be added

To Reproduce

1. Add a photo
2. Use AI-Polygon
3. Go into edit mode
4. Try to add a point to the polygon by using the shortcut while cursor is on the edge

Please use ALT+Click, and that should work.
