Are the abbreviations 0xTT and OxWS necessary?

What is the issue with the MIME Sniffing Standard?

The abbreviations 0xTT and 0xWS are strange hex looking names. They don't seem to be used anywhere in the specification itself. Can they be removed?

They are used, just not prefixed with 0x as byte sequences lose the 0x prefix in this specification. Perhaps we should spell 0x out in byte sequences as well however.

0xWS is leftover from a time before the "Leading Bytes to Be Ignored" column was added to tables in 3ac32c1. It is no longer used directly as an abbreviation, except in the definition.

0xTT is, however, still used. Values in the "Byte Pattern" and "Pattern Mask" columns of tables are shown without the 0x prefix because it makes copying and pasting easier; it is implied for those values.
