Is this project no longer maintained?
The latest version was for Mar 15, 2022 and there are pending Pull requests and Unresolved issues.

Other than the fact that I have made some contributions to this project in the past and that I maintain one of the major downstream dependents of this package, I don't have maintainer status here. That's for @wbond to handle.

I'll try to cleanup a few issues. But I'm mostly busy with other things too, these days :(
