It's not necessary for 3.6 beta testing for now, as they don't have 3.5.* versions to override yet. But it's better to have them included now to avoid forgetting in the future.

I intentionally put the code in a separate file because we would need to comment it out once 3.6 stable is out and 3.7 hasn't reached alpha.
