I would love to see a mysql client implemented here that would allow connecting to remote MySql databases. I have been thinking of implementing myself, been testing just bash in internal tools, the ability to connect to read-replica mysql would allow a lot of reporting. I am creating this ticket to see if any hope of upstream merge.
