Describe the bug
Input overlay only detects Trigger buttons (RT/LT) and nothing else on controller. Using Haute42 S16.

To Reproduce
Start OBS, confirm input overlay source is pointing to controller for input, try pressing buttons, only RT/LT work.

Expected behavior
All buttons to work.

Just downloaded this to try and capture gamepad inputs. Keyboard is working just fine, but I'm also encountering the issue of only showing trigger inputs on my Xbox gamepad. Looking in my log file, the only error with the [input-overlay] tag is the following:

[input-overlay] Loaded config file was created with an older version of input-overlay, trying to convert the key codes to the new format

Which is weird because I downloaded everything from the most recent release (Input Overlay 5.1.0 at the time of this comment).

My OBS version is 31.0.3, and I'm on Windows 11.

I have not updated the presets yet so they all still use the old key codes. As for the game pad issues if the game pad works fine in the config creation tool but not in OBS, please refer to this video

It's technically intended for non-standard game pads but it should work for any game pad preset that has issues with the normal input overlay source.

I'm having the same issue, but the browser doesn't seem to solve my issue.
The controller I'm using is the 8BitDo Ultimate, I made a quick video to demonstrate the issue!

As far as I can tell, only the Home/XBox button, and both triggers work.
The browser also detects Joystick movements!

I guess I could use the SDL2 tester as an overlay, but it's not quite as pretty as the plugin.

I am having the same problem as OP. After going through the browser overlay instructions, now only the triggers work as before, but also all of the button light up when I press the A button. This is reflected in the HTML page when I open it in Chrome. I have attached the renderer.html as a txt.
