Describe the issue

In this document, you add code to allow different config options, one of which is a max character length. The document does provide compilable and working code it leaves out code that enforces the max character length, so if someone wants to play with that configuration and learn it they don't have a working example of it. Please see the thread on the forums for the confusion it caused and what appears to be the solution.

I'm not entirely sure I understand what needs to be updated here.
Could you be more specific as to which code snippets or paragraphs in the article we need to look at?

I am not 100% what all needs to be updated and added to the doc as I don't know how to make a max length property enforced but this document does not cover that in the example.

I would presume that the "Using the Configuration" is where the missing code needs to be added as that is where the hook to the 3 declared properties is at. I would guess the missing code to enforce the maxchar would be placed in step 5 maybe since the maxchar value is read into the textbox at that point.

But I think the entire page needs to be evaluated and updated so that it has the needed code so that the Max Character length property works and actually has the max character length enforced.
