Ran through and took some of the largest PDF files, and compressed them using PDF Squeezer on the Mac.
This took and used a ~300DPI, image compression filter, and it knocked a good amount of size off many of these PDFs without significant sacrifices to quality.
Feel free to reject/close if this isn't desired in the project. Mostly did it for myself, and figured I'd push up to help save some people some bandwidth.
