Summary of Changes

Hello @tomchon, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request refactors the directory creation logic within the CI scan result saving utility. The change streamlines the code by leveraging a built-in Python feature, making the process more robust and concise when handling existing directories for scan output.

Highlights

  • Directory Creation: Simplified the logic for creating directories for scan result files by utilizing the exist_ok=True parameter in os.makedirs, removing the need for an explicit os.path.exists check.

Code Review

The simplification of the directory creation logic is a good improvement. Using os.makedirs(..., exist_ok=True) is more concise and idiomatic than checking for existence first, and it also avoids a potential TOCTOU (time-of-check to time-of-use) race condition. The change is correct and improves the code quality.
