table with some symbol are not aligned properly

I am using symbols like △ and × in my table, but the cells are not aligning properly. It seems that △ and × are being recognized as half-width characters.

When using full-width characters, they occupy two spaces, while half-width characters occupy one space.

Yeah. They actually occupy two spaces but the table doesn't understand it.
