Description of PR
For Sonic cross-compilation build (specifically for Sonic armhf built on amd64 host).
Summary:
Replaced all appearances of CC variable with CXX since CXX is used for g++ compiler. While cross-compiling your CXX variable g++ compiler will be replaced with cross-compiler g++.
