@kperumalbfn Though the release is common, the other platform tests weren't done at this point and is qualified only on smartswitch topo, so as of now it applies only for smartswitch.

@rameshraghupathy @Aravind-Subbaroyan I thought non-smartswitch is still using 202411.1.0.12 (as per platform/checkout/cisco-8000.ini), so this change should not impact non-smartswitch right? Also, can you confirm if the port naming issue is applicable for non-smartswitch to begin with?

@kperumalbfn This fix is applicable only for smartswitch and other cisco 8k platforms don't need this change.
