- What I did
Retry mechanism now apply to all types of SMBus errors encountered.
- How to verify it
Enabling dynamic debug for the scd-hwmon driver will print smbus retry information in the dmesg.
Stress test reads/writes on the sysfs for devices and watching the dmesg output to make sure the retry works.
