Is it possible to set a hotkey without any modifier?

Thanks for the great package! I'm curious if it's possible to define a hotkey without any modifier? Also is it possible not to let the keystroke pass to the OS? I need global hotkeys without any modifier that takes the keystroke exclusively. Thanks!
