Garbled Input Line after coming back from remote state.

After pressing space twice, the control goes back to the terminal as indicated. Buf after that, no input is possibly any more. cursor jumps in multiple lines, letters are vanishing, and it's even not possible to raise commands in the dark - the CLI interprets what's visible not what's typed.
Might be related to a customized Claude footer section that also works with escape characters. But that works well until after the first transition back from the mobile

Same here. Super annoying. It basically makes happy unusable for any real, continuous work where you are switching devices, which is the whole point of it.

you can however work around this. if you press Ctrl-C twice you get a hint how to resume Claude (--resume ) you can pass this also to happy and your old session continues after restart :)

+1 — PR #570 addresses exactly this. The root cause analysis there (wrong cleanup order, sticky setEncoding, signal handlers bypassing finally blocks) matches the symptoms described here.
