Codex gets stuck when requesting permissions

Whenever I initiate a codex session, at some point it tries to write a terminal command (when I click to expand in the Happy UI it just says "Input Parameters: {}") and I can neither approve nor decline it, which makes the entire session get stuck without any way forward. I even configured the settings.toml file to never ask for permissions, but that didn't seem to work either.

1. You know there's only one more level up right? Happy -> Happier -> Happiest. ;)
2. Why not contribute the changes back to Happy? Has there been fundamental differences in opinion between the two teams?
3. What are some of the major the refinement Happier brought?

@leeroybrun Got it. Thanks for the response and helping me better understand the motivation behind happier. Can’t wait for the iOS Release (or if there’s a TestFlight program I’m game to test it out)
