This is a dummy PR to see the effect on the tests and the docs of including an updated cocycle notebook. The notebook was originally updated on this branch https://github.com/scikit-tda/ripser.py/tree/fixingcocyclenotebook but as far as I can tell, the changes never made it to main. This was mentioned in #83.
If everything passes, renders fine, and is mathematically correct, then I'll merge the original branch into master.
