Calling any of the back-button commands, such as back-button-local-backward, returns

I can't reproduce this on GNU Emacs 30.1 (build 3, x86_64-pc-linux-gnu, X toolkit, cairo version 1.18.0, Xaw scroll bars)
of 2025-03-24. All commands work fine here.
