This should fix weird problems that I was seeing, where
docs/**were marked "dirty", but couldn't begit restoreor evengit resetanymore.Note how only line endings are changed. I didn't do this "manually" but just ran
git add --renormalize .see e.g. https://stackoverflow.com/a/53937415/421602 for background.
