When you hide a WHMCS widget, the widget will always get loaded, so it was only a visual trigger. The default WHMCS widgets follow the same pattern. I've now added an option to detect if the user(admin) is hiding the widget. If that is the case, we skip the api calls. When the widget is enabled, they will load the data.
I think this will finally solve the problem indicated in #218 ..
