We are happy that you are exploring the QUDT ontology, and in the spirit of open-source development, we hope that you will consider improving our existing content or adding new content. If so, PLEASE review the submission guides listed on the right side of the screen so that your additions are compatible. We have numerous routines that depend on the various class properties, so the required properties really are required.
The sidebar to the right also lists some user guides that are continually being revised, and detailed documentation about how to contribute to the QUDT open-source activity.
