Cannot build documentation

Hi,
I tried to build the documentation following your install instructions, but I am getting an error. Am I using the correct version of Sphinx?

The error

exception: No module named 'pkg_resources'

often happens with newer Python versions (3.12 and later), since these versions no longer include setuptools by default (of which pkg_resources is a part).

Try

pip install setuptools
