Multiline Arrow Ligature support?

I am unsure if this is a bug, a missing feature, or operating as designed.

In Cosmic Terminal the multi-line "ligature" in my custom zsh theme has a gap:

whereas my other terminals(Terminator in this case) display does not:

Is this expected behaivior? is there a pixel between rendered lines?

Is this still an issue? Can you let me know the font used and copy paste the broken text inside a code block so I can try it out?

Sorry about the delayed response.

This is still an issue. I have tested with Noto Sans Mono and Fira Code Mono. Additionally, I have recently changed shells to fish + startship.rs and experience the same issue.
