Librewolf and Discord freeze when copy-pasting images using Startpage search engine

Describe the bug
When copy-pasting images from LibreWolf browser into Discord while using StartPage search engine, both Discord and LibreWolf brick and I usually have to force-quit both. I am unsure as to if the image will load (or discord will say "image file is empty") because I usually force-quit the two things after like 15-30 seconds.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Restart computer for control reasons
2. Install Discord using Flatpak
3. Install LibreWolf using Flatpak
4. Go to Startpage.com
5. Find an image you wanna send to your friends on Discord
6. Copy the image either using anonymous view or otherwise, it doesn't really matter.
7. Paste the image in chat
8. See error

Expected behavior
The image to not brick both LibreWolf and Discord and instead either properly copy-paste or Discord to throw a "can't paste an empty file, dummy"

Desktop (please complete the following information):

• OS: Pop!_OS 24.04 LTS x86_64
• Desktop environment: COSMIC
• 6-core AMD Ryzen 5 5600X (-MT MCP-)
• Kernel: 7.0.11-76070011-generic x86_64
• 32gb of DDR4 RAM
• Storage: 931.51 GiB (69.6% used)

Additional context
I used to use the GNOME version of Pop OS and only until I upgraded to COSMIC did this error appear. I also updated both LibreWolf and Discord and both still threw the error. I also ran sudo apt update and upgrade, same thing. Alongside that, I also restarted my PC and the error was thrown up again, so I think it has something to do with COSMIC, LibreWolf or Discord, though I'm leaning towards the former or at least the latter two conflicting with the former because this error only appeared after I upgraded to COSMIC.

Workarounds I have found

• As a workaround, I have found that using the PrtSc button and screenshotting the desired image and then sending that works fine but it's not good.
• Save the image and then send that saved image to chat, though that's inconvenient compared to ctrl+c > ctrl+v or right click menu, copy, then paste into discord

I have not tested any other search engines, as Startpage is my default browser.

this is exactly what im trying to do, so its peculiar you cannot recreate it

If you open a terminal and run sudo journalctl -f, then recreate the issue, does any output appear in the logs at the same time as the issue happens?

Also, I see most of your hardware info, but what GPU are you using?

If you create a new user account (just for testing purposes), log into it, and then install these apps via Flatpak and try doing the same thing, does it still not work?

Ultimately, we need to either find some more information that would point to the cause or narrow down what about your environment is exposing the issue in order to be able to investigate or potentially fix it.
