"Confirm device type" popup on every boot (type not saved?) #3282

Describe the bug
Every time I boot, I get a "confirm device type" popup and am prompted to choose between headphones and headset (see someone else's reddit post here). I am using a Steelseries Arctis 7 headset which includes an integrated microphone. Ideally I would only need to select this once.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Have a headset plugged in to the PC before booting (e.g. Steelseries Arctis 7)
- Boot up Pop OS
- Log in
- Wait for dialog to show up
- Select an option
- Reboot & login again
- Confirm dialog still shows up
Expected behavior
Once selected for this headset, it should not show up on each boot.

Someone else managed to grab a screenshot in this post on reddit. For me it seems to disappear sometimes, so I had a hard time getting my own screenshot, but it looks identical.

Additional context
I looked for this issue elsewhere and could not find it, so apologies if this is a dupe. I am also unsure if this is a bug (save does not happen correctly) or feature request (saving is not currently implemented, and it should be)
