ChefDK unsupported for Red Hat distros not using SystemD

Any chance of getting chefdk support for sysinit and upstart service types on Red Hat distros?  They currently both default to the hard coded location of chef-client ruby:

ChefDK is found in `/opt/chefdk` instead of `/opt/chef`
