Same. Some of the OSS repos I watch over have a full table, some partial, some empty. Before last week, there were always 10 entries in each table

Refreshing / reloading the page will sometimes work.
They may be working on that as it seems kind of hit and miss right now.

Same issue on my repos - have noticed it for a few days. Refreshing/reload only occasionally gets a 'google' entry coming up but usually I have lots more than that.

I was facing the same issue on zerofs' repo, and graphs started to disappear too as of today

I wonder if we all have something in common like OS or browser - so it could be a GitHub compatibility issue with a particular OS/browser?
For me I use chromium on Arch Linux desktop (Chromium Version 138.0.7204.168 (Official Build) Arch Linux (64-bit)).

What are the rest of you using?

Chromium. I think there was an update in the last few days. But I suspect a GitHub code change causing the problem.

Prior to this, I experienced long lags for complete traffic data (it seemed to be incomplete and full views would populate days later).

Thanks for reporting this. The Referring Sites table on the repo traffic page only shows data if there has been traffic coming from external sites during the selected time period. If your repository hasn’t had any referrals yet, the table will appear empty.
If you believe there should be data, you could try:
Checking a longer time range in the traffic view.
Ensuring your repository is public (private repos have limited traffic insights).
If the issue persists despite having traffic, it might be a bug, and reporting it through GitHub Support with screenshots and repo details can help them investigate.

Right, but as the description of this issue clearly shows, Referring sites is broken. It started at least a couple weeks ago where the data is either wrong or entirely missing.

My GitHub traffic CLI tool uses the same API and has the same issues:

Still broken 2 months later. Any update from Github when this will be fixed? The referring sites feature is very useful for understanding where new users are coming from. It's broken in the API as well:

Hi All, A week or two after the outage, we got the new UI graphs. There’s a good chance the update broke some existing features, and honestly, the rollout didn’t seem to go all that smoothly. Personally, I’ve stopped using the feature completely. I used to rely on it almost daily for my projects. I doubt I’m the only one who feels that way. Maybe it’s time to make the GitHub code advocates aware that this still isn’t resolved. The only noticeable change so far is that the new graphs are harder to read, and referring sites still don’t work. Might be going a bit off-topic, but this really feels like a snapshot of where the tech industry’s at lately. Missing that spark of excitement, ownership, and good old nerdiness. This should’ve been fixed in a week tops, yet here we are… I’d almost forgotten the issue was still ongoing.
