I would like to be able to scroll through the Pull Request while the comment modal is open. Reason: When a comment is outdated, we need to look at the current version to check if it actually addresses the comment. I really love this feature! THANK YOU!!!

Update: I just found out that it appears when there's enough space (1280px width). Here's the updated feedback. I'd like to see the branch name in the sticky header at all times so that I can easily copy it when I'm reviewing a PR. I wrote the following before thoroughly experimenting. I'd like to see the branch name when the sticky header is shown (i.e., when you've scrolled to the bottom). The reason is that when I'm reviewing a long PR and want to checkout the branch to continue reviewing it locally, I have to go back all the way up to see or copy the branch name and then go back to where I left off.

I find the comment indicators in the sidebar really useful. It might also be useful to have them in the "diff file header." It's very useful when you've marked a file as "viewed" because you can see how many comments it has as you're scrolling without having to expand it.

This is really cool. Is it also possible to seamlessly toggle hiding white spaces? If that's achievable without doing a refresh would be amazing. |

Clicking a line number always assumes you want to add a comment. In the previous experience it only changes the URL to have deep linking.

This is so much better, I might go back from reviewing with the VSCode extension now 🚀 I love the new alerts panel, unfortunately it looks like pressing Maybe we could have some grouping or clustering in the alerts panel in the future.

I would love to see the file tree sorted alphabetically with folders on top, then files. It is quite jarring to have changed files in the middle of folders when viewing the file tree currently. Example of current state Example of desired state This would mirror how the majority of developers view the code in their IDE

On the Files changed tab I can only see 19 files out of 66. Why?

I used to be able to click on a useful link to see the submodule diff in PRs but now its just plain text. Could we have that back pls?

It doesn't always seem to remember if hide whitespace was turned on.

I am finding in Chrome on Files Changed I can no longer use cmd+up to get to the top of the page. On longer PRs this is quite frustrating.

Middle click and right click in the PR review text area results in selecting the line under cursor, which is annoying when you are using middle mouse button to quickly scroll a page or right clicking for browser context menu. Only left click should select a line.

Left clicking causing line to be selected/highlighted is quite annoying. I select text to aid in tracking my current position, and the giant blue highlight box around a line is incredibly distracting and draws my attention to the start of the selection rather than the whole selection. It feels like clicking in the text area should not result in a permanent highlight of the line. There is already the indicators on left and right side of page that allows the user to interact with a line.

I can't find a way, so i will love if we can have a search input to find files by its content. I use the browser search (CTRL + F) when the PR is small, but when is large , i have a limit by 1 file to see and review, and its make it harder when i have the reference of a file by a code snippet.

When there is a horizontal scrollbar (which FYI is a WCAG violation), I cannot access the bottom of the files list (see bottom left below). It's cut off by the horizontal scrollbar.

When you move a file, you can no longer see the full old path. You can only see the new path in the tooltip.

| Feedback for when reviewing large PRs that only show one file at a time:
Despite the few issues I've run into, the new view is much better for reviewing large PRs - nice work! |

This new update sounds really impressive! The focus on performance, accessibility, and smoother navigation will definitely make code reviews much more efficient. I especially like the idea of persistent comments and the improved side panel for quick access — those small changes make a big difference. Excited to try out the new “Files Changed” experience and see how it improves workflow!

When a file has been moved, I can't find any way to see what it's old path was in comparison to the new path.

A lack of applying multiple suggestions at once has made reviewing pull requests extremely tedious and resulted in me disabling this feature preview. |

Since switching, the UI will randomly jump to the last code review comment I made while I am looking at code elsewhere in the diff. This seems to happen on a focus change, either clicking away from the browser window with the code review in it, or focusing back on the browser. This is infuriating.

Can we get rid of single file mode? It's fine if I need to scroll but only seeing one file at a time just makes no sense and makes me lose my sense of position

On a pull request with lots of files, it shows only one file at a time: "Due to the large number of changes in this pull request, only one file is being shown at a time." But after you have viewed a file, it still is in the list and next time you're looking you have to click past every viewed file one at a time to find an unviewed one. There needs to be some way to skip to an unviewed file.
