I first submitted a request for my Sponsorship account several months ago, but it never got approved. I forgot about it for a while, then came back and realized the account was still not approved and I thought something had gone wrong, so I canceled the request and submitted it again. Unfortunately, it's still not approved after waiting another couple of months.

I don't have personal experience with this, but based on similar cases in the GitHub community I would suggest you to try these:
1. Review Your Fiscal Host Setup (if you're using one)
2. Check Application Completeness
3. Contact GitHub Support
