Attempted to repro on macOS (iTerm, Ghostty, VSCode terminal) to understant whether this is a universal problem or only Windows. No repro on any of those terminals (using Simplified Pinyin as the input method). I'll take a look with Windows to see more there. It may take me a bit of time to get a windows setup going.
