OTFcreds: Activity 3.1 Integrate the server library into the OONI backend

We will do all the engineering work needed to integrate the library into the backend component.

This activity will mainly be carried out by the OONI team (backend engineer, research engineer), but will also require some input from the cryptographer to ensure the integration is done in a way that is effective and secure.

Probe services migration: Some probe services for uploading measurements are implemented in OONI’s old monolith which is fragile and hard to change. In order to iterate faster on the anonymous credentials protocol, OONI had to migrate the measurement upload to their microservice infrastructure in AWS. The code was ported and migrated, and the following issue tracks the related work: ooni/ooni.org#1643

Backend protocol integration: The cryptographic library needs to be accessible to the OONI backend code, and new services need to be created to support the protocol. To this end, OONI developed:

• A python bindings library: Python bindings userauth#4, Str serialization userauth#13
• API services: Anonymous credentials draft endpoints #1016

Performance work: Some performance work is required to achieve the desired throughput in the API. OONI worked on the following to provide some support infrastructure:
