Description

Description

When attempting to suspend the laptop, the system occasionally freezes completely, requiring a force restart. This occurs more frequently when the system is under memory pressure (60-80% RAM utilization).

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open multiple applications (60-80% RAM usage).
  2. Trigger a system suspend (via menu, lid close, or systemctl suspend).
  3. The system fail to enter sleep and becomes unresponsive.

Expected Behavior

The system should enter suspend mode reliably regardless of background application load or memory usage.

Environment

  • Distro: Garuda Linux
  • Compositor: Hyprland
  • Noctalia-shell Version: 4.4.0
  • Monitor resolution: 1920x1080 @ 60Hz
