It is hoped that when returning to the login interface from a locked screen state, the system can automatically set focus to the password input field. When users unlock their device and return to the login page, the most likely need is to enter the password to complete the login. Auto-focus can save the step of manually clicking the password field, improving the smoothness of the login experience.

Current Problems:
Inefficiency: Additional clicking operations prolong login time

No we shouldn't have. There is absolutely no reason to add more dependencies than needed.

Also @ChenDibang I'm unable to replicate your issue (at least on niri or hyprland). It focuses just fine over here without using my mouse 🤔 .

You can see that this is the state after the suspension period has ended. It is not focused on the input box.

On niri for me, the TextInput field is always focused after wake up from suspend.

Description

After resuming the system from suspend, the text input field does not automatically regain focus.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Suspend the system (using the application's built-in suspend command).
2. Wake the system and log back in.
3. Observe that the cursor does not appear in the previously focused text input field.

Expected Behavior

Upon resuming from suspend and returning to the desktop, the previously focused text input field should automatically regain focus and be ready for user input.

Environment

· Distro: Arch Linux (all packages up-to-date)
· Compositor: Hyprland

Additional Context

· This issue occurs consistently after every suspend-resume cycle.
· All system packages are up-to-date (yay -Syu).

Don't have this issue on fedora niri either. Are Hyprlock or Swaylock installed? Maybe try removing them if they are.

I deleted Hyprlock but still have this problem.
