backup wrongly reports "Backup is smaller than configured minimum backup size"

steps to reproduce:

I have a small trial backup which has only one file in backup destination.
When launched it fails because I renamed that one file so it cannot be found. So far all is as expected.

However npbackup also reports: "Backup is smaller than configured minimum backup size"

... that cannot be since I have put that setting at zero, it should never fail this check.

This happens when there is an error reported in the Error messages window. Once I correct the file in the backup configuration it passes without "Backup smaller than..." message:

Yes, that's a design choice:

• if the backup size is smaller than the minimum backup size error, trigger an error
• if the backup size cannot be determined, consider it's 0b, and since probably noone wants to have a 0b sized backup, trigger an errror, even if minimum backup size error isn't set

It does not bother me but the message implies that the setting is being violated and that is true by design as you explained but not by (mathematical?) logic.

The actual failure is "nothing to back up" or "cannot determine size of backup". And I would give such message to the user and not even compare against the minimum backup size as there is nothing to compare to.

In case there is something to back up and size can be determined, the message as per above screenshot is perfect and valid. And then also points to this setting in the config if the user wants to check or change it. Which is what I did.
