Uninstall script

I have not found any documentation on how to uninstall LocalAI when it is installed via install.sh. It would be good to add an option in install.sh to uninstall everything.

docker volume rm local-ai-data

Should get rid of most of it. This is what I used on my debian system.

I'd just add to your list a step to stop the local-ai systemd service, otherwise the PID could hang around until reboot. And a way to check that it's not running is to hit the URL (localhost:8080, or wherever).

I've tried that method, and I still could not properly uninstall the app.

It was still accessible via the port 8080

And a process seems to be running

It seems the docker network forwarding plugin was still active.
Running the following showed nothing:

docker ps -a

And yet, running:

sudo lsof -i :8080

Resulted in

COMMAND     PID USER   FD   TYPE DEVICE SIZE/OFF NODE NAME
docker-pr 21304 root    4u  IPv4  78055      0t0  TCP *:http-alt (LISTEN)

To fix the issue, I just uninstalled docker altogether, as I didn't use It for anything else with:

sudo apt-get remove --purge -y docker.io docker-ce docker-ce-cli containerd runc

The app really needs a PROPER uninstaller method as this is pretty absurd.

Any plans to include a .deb package? Or even just standalone binaries? I'd love to try LocalAI, but not risking polluting my system with an install script.

The current uninstall script only deals with Linux. Manual operations are still required for macOS.
