Description

Upgrading web-ext to the latest version available (8.10.0) to fix an issue where it doesn't correctly locate the Firefox binary, at least on macOS, when running it via npm run dev.

@bakulf I've resolved the merge conflict. Regarding the submodule update, it looks like it was done in main, so it is no longer present in this branch. FWIW, it happened automatically when I ran npm run test.
