- What I did
Increasing the
grpc.MaxCallRecvMsgSizeoption to the connections used by the broker.- How I did it
By adding the option
rpc.WithDefaultCallOptions(grpc.MaxCallRecvMsgSize(math.MaxInt32))in the dial options used to initialize the connection.I made the same kind of changes as docker-archive/engine#102 and moby/moby#39306.
These modifications cannot be done in the client side.
- How to test it
Create a lot of Swarmkit objects (Configs, Secrets, Services) in the little period.
The nodes state will change and the message sent to the managers will be greater than the current authorized size (4194304 bytes) but no error messages will occur.
- Description for the changelog
Increase the maximum size for the messages received by the broker.
Fixes #2733
