It would be nice to be able to download content based on the tag provided in the link.

For example, let's say that I only wanted to download content under the "Series" tag, it would look like this:

https://www.subscribestar.com/thegestan?tag=Series

If I want to download everything from a creator, no tag would be present:

https://www.subscribestar.com/thegestan

I have two ideas for how tags could be treated should there be an error:

If a tag has a typo in it, the program will either give an error and cancel the download entirely or treat it as a full download.

?tag=... parameters are supported in 609e192, but I'm not sure if this is able to get posts past the first page, as I wasn't able to find a user tag with more than a few posts each. Never enough to trigger a second page load.

Here's a user that I found with a tag to test with. Most of them are youtube links, but it did seem to download older photos from different pages. (And by pages, I assume you meant the 'view next posts' button)

However, I'm unsure if there's an issue on my end or not. It seems to download everything regardless if I use a tag or not.

Make sure you are running the latest code and not v1.31.1

Ah, I had a feeling that I was running an older version, I just couldn't find the latest builds. Thanks!

When running from an executable, it possible to update to the latest dev version with

gallery-dl --update-to dev
