hi, i'm trying to get gallery-dl working with simpcity.cr.

i exported the cookies from firefox using the Get cookies.txt LOCALLY extension in NetScape format (the recommended Export Cookies extension doesn't work)

i've added:

"simpcity":
		{
		    "cookies": "C://simpcitycookies.txt"
	    },

to my conf file, gallery-dl loads the cookies file just fine, but still throws [simpcity] [error] AuthRequired: 'authenticated cookies' needed ('You must be logged-in to do that.') when trying to download the images of a thread.

i don't know what i'm doing wrong here and would appreciate some help, thanks

Check your cookies file and make sure it contain a ogaddgmetaprof_user cookie.

That's what I am using and it does work.

That's the error message shown by simpcity when opening a thread when not logged in.

checked, it has a ogaddgmetaprof_session cookie & ogaddgmetaprof_csrf cookie, but no ogaddgmetaprof_user. any idea how to make firefox generate one? i'm logged into simpcity

only these 3 cookies start with ogaddgmetaprof in storage > cookies

when i try exporting the cookies with it, it outputs an empty netscape file 🤷‍♀️

logged out and logged in again, it now has a ogaddgmetaprof_user cookie. tested it again with the updated cookie.txt file and it seems to work! thanks alot for the help 😄

Probably by enabling "Stay logged in" when logging in.

There doesn't seem to be a CAPTCHA protecting the login form, so this could be implemented, I guess.
